Beef Jerky


  • Prep: 12 hours 10 minutes
  • Dehydrate: 6 hours


  • 1kg beef
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation Instructions

  1. Slice the beef across the grain into 5mm thick slices.
  2. Mix the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and salt together until well combined.
  3. Place the beef and marinade in a sealable plastic bag. Mix well so the meat is covered in the mixture.
  4. Marinate in the fridge for 12 hours or overnight.
  5. Drain and then discard the marinade.
  6. Place the marinated beef evenly between the dehydrator trays.
  7. Dry at 75°C for 6 hours, or until done.
